Luxe Bedfordshire care home opens

Leighton Rose is Macc Care’s first state-of-the-art luxury care home in Bedfordshire, designed to provide a safe and welcoming community for up to 71 residents.

Leighton Rose offers generously proportioned en-suite accommodation and person-centric care. Purpose-designed and built with expertise and attention to detail, the home offers first-class facilities, a dedicated dementia care unit and two fully equipped ground floor rooms for Bariatric care.

The new home will be managed by manager Clare Hedge and her team. Speaking on the opening, Clare said: 'We want the residents at Leighton Rose to celebrate life every day and live the absolute best life they can. The home has been designed with this in mind, from comfortable communal areas for residents and their loved ones to enjoy to the gardens, cinema room and even the individual private rooms.

'I’ve been a registered manager for care homes for 22 years. I love what I do and being able to make a difference in people's lives, and I know this is something shared by my whole team here at Leighton Rose. We’re looking forward to welcoming the community and our fellow professionals for the opening celebrations, but even more to having our first residents move in and begin making many happy memories here.'

The new residential care home is Macc Care’s 14th facility, extending its network of luxury care communities across the Midlands. Founded by doctors almost two decades ago, Macc Care has grown to become one of the UK’s leading providers of elderly care. vwww.macccare.com
