Privacy panels play a key role in ward upgrade at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability in London
Vistamatic vision panels have been installed as part of the refurbishment of Wellesley Ward at the Royal Hospital for Neuro-Disability in London.
Working with Projax Interiors. Vistamatic provided over 50 privacy vision panels for the revamp project.
The RHN is a charity, independent from the NHS but working closely with it, to provide the best-possible care for people living with neuro-disability.
And its specialist services support people in dedicated environments designed to best meet their needs.
Wellesley Ward is a specialist inpatient ward for adults with challenging behaviour resulting from a brain injury.
But the ward had not been refurbished for a number of years.
A £1.5m appeal was launched, with the aim of modernising the environment, improving access, patient dignity and privacy, and creating extra space for a range of physical and occupational therapies.
Vistamatic provided 20 custom Vista Max and 29 standard Vista Max vision panels for the project.
The panels were all FD30 with lever handle operation needed on one side only.
Additionally, five Vista Slide vision panels were requested for larger viewing areas.
