Products help to create a more-therapeutic environment following refurbishment
Knightsbridge Furniture has provided a range of products for Millbrook Mental Health Unit, an inpatient and community psychiatric facility in Nottinghamshire.
The site recently closed for refurbishment and now has a total of 46 en-suite rooms to provide patients with a sense of privacy and independence, along with a number of assisted bedrooms, dining rooms, and communal areas.
Knightsbridge has provided furniture from its Cheetah, Zouk, Acron, Bebop, and Affinity ranges within its healthcare and challenging environments collections, as well as GoGo chairs and tables for staff-only areas.
Each piece has been carefully considered and adapted to meet the needs of the residents and employees, with the Millbrook team working closely with Knightsbridge to discuss details of the pieces provided and the colour schemes within the facility.
And all have been crafted with a focus on comfort and style, as well as safety and durability.
Director of design and development at Knightsbridge Furniture, Jason Brown, said: “We have vast experience in providing furniture to healthcare settings and understand how important it is to ensure the pieces are the right fit for the environment.
“Our furniture is easily adaptable to be weighted and seamless with reinforced frames and feet, security screws, and further options to meet the highest safety and comfort standards.
“It’s always our aim to become an extension of the team we’re working with, making it easy for them to work with us in collaboration to provide the ideal furnishing solutions.”
