Work begins on new health hub
Work has begun on the creation of a new healthcare facility in a Leamington Spa suburb.
Deeley Construction has started construction of the new healthcare facility in Lillington.
The two-storey, modern, low-carbon facility is expected to be completed in November 2023 and will bring together primary care services and a range of community health teams to support increased access to vital services for the local population.
Deeley Construction is undertaking the construction on behalf of partners from South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust and its wholly-owned subsidiary company, SWFT Clinical Services; Warwick District Council; and Coventry and Warwickshire’s Integrated Care System.
Martin Gallagher, managing director of Deeley Construction, said: “We have significant experience in the healthcare sector and a proven track record of delivering schemes which provide lasting value for communities.
“We are pleased to now be on site and working as part of the partnership to create this important new facility for residents in Lillington and the surrounding area.”
Adam Parchment, physiotherapy outpatient pathway lead at South Warwickshire University NHS Foundation Trust, added: “I am delighted to be a part of this exciting project and to enhance the healthcare offering for communities in Lillington.
“Working with partners is enabling us to create a facility that will bring together different services and develop new pathways for patients which are personalised to their needs. This will help us improve outcomes for patients, as well as help to signpost to other services.”
